A-Doc is a proud partner of this year’s AAPI Renaissance Rally, presented by Seed&Spark and Gold House taking place now through April 29.
This initiative invites filmmakers across the US and Canada to crowdfund their projects for a chance to receive: mentorship from leading voices across the film industry (including A-Doc Co-Founders Grace Lee and S. Leo Chiang!); $12,500 in additional funding; an opportunity to pitch to the Gold House Entertainment Fund; and a spot at the Gold Pitch Event during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Last year creators were able to raise $621,773, engage 14,300+ individuals, and greenlight 43 projects!
This year, 19 A-Doc member projects are participating in the rally. Let’s show up for them by doing one or more of the following:
- Following their campaigns
- Sharing their projects
- Making a pledge
To qualify as finalists, each project must reach 80% of its funding goal, obtain 350 followers, and post 8 campaign updates. Our support for these filmmakers could be what helps them cross the finish line, so let’s rally behind A-Doc filmmakers!
