Film Database
As a network of Asian American storytellers, we aim to foster dialogue and collaboration between filmmakers, educators, community organizations, and other partners, in order to expand the reach of AAPI stories and to strengthen community connections.
This film database is a resource geared towards educators and community organizations looking to screen a film with the intent to learn and inform. Each listing provides the necessary details needed to purchase a license. Numerous films have relevant content to ethnic studies and many have study guides. A sample of topics that can be found in the database include race relations, labor, women’s rights, activism, and mental health. These titles have been presented at academic conferences, classroom visits, guest lectures, and campus screenings.
