

Raised on Guam, Lailanie Gadia is a Filipina American community builder, producer, and financial professional based in Los Angeles, CA. She serves as Operations Director at the Asian American Documentary Network (A-Doc). She is Associate Producer of Tadashi Nakamura’s documentary feature, Third Act (Sundance 2025). She is currently producing 2024 CAAM Fellow and Pitch winner Rafael Bitanga’s Bridging Our Stories, an advisor to Alvin Carpio’s rites, and has several projects in development. She is a 2023 Documentary New Leader, a 2021-2022 LEAP Impact alumna, and serves on the board of the API Alumni Association at Loyola Marymount University where she finds joy in supporting the next wave of young adults as they enter the working world while engaging with fellow alumni. She is driven to uplift and empower AANHPI filmmakers and storytellers to live out their creative pursuits through community, collaboration, and impact. She has been in various roles over the last 6+ years in marketing, sponsorships, partnerships and artist support. She previously had a 6 year career in mortgage banking and still remains in the financial industry as an independent financial professional and entrepreneur.
